Looking for a chance to volunteer and support your local art association? Join us in becoming a FRIEND of the Somerset Art Association! Friends can devote as little as one hour here and there or make a regular commitment on an ongoing basis. 

Volunteer Cake

The Somerset Art Association hosts an annual dinner each year to thank volunteers for their support. This cake was donated by volunteer Elena Shumskaya of Elena's Cakes and More, Stirling, NJ. Elena has won numerous awards for her incredible and artistic cake designs.

We are a vibrant group of volunteers who manage to support the Association in a variety of ways. Help is needed at:

to name a few opportunities to give back, support and make friends at SAA. Volunteer jobs are available during the day, during the week, evenings, weekends…we can fit you in when you are available!

Being a Friend is not all work and no play. There are many opportunities for the volunteers to socialize and intermingle through monthly book and theater groups, bus trips to NYC museums and out of town places, and movie nights and dinner at local restaurants.

You do not have to be an artist or even a member of SAA to become a Friend. You just have to want to further the love of art in our community by volunteering in support of the Somerset Art Association.

If you want to participate, we promise you will have the best time and will be rewarded by giving, doing and meeting other people who care about the arts and our community.
